Kohl Christensen

Son of a builder, Kohl grew up on job sites. Learning the construction trade early in life and eventually earning him a General Contractors license in Hawaiʻi. Raised in Kailua, his love for surfing eventually landed him on the North Shore of Oahu where he has surfed in three Eddie Aikau events. A right place, right time moment in 2006 saw his brother Nick and himself purchase a 3 acre piece of agricultural land with no access to utility power or water.

They built their off grid dream farm. That was the beginning of his renewable energy journey where he has since installed solar on thousands of homes in the state. Becoming a leader in off and on grid installations and an expert in the field.
